Pump module

Designed to be used in conjunction with a separate tank, our pump modules consist of a reliable, high quality diaphragm pump, mounted on a versatile aluminium bracket and protected by a durable plastic cover. The pump is to be positioned on or near to the additive source, whether this is a user supplied tank, 200L drum, IBC, a tank built into a harvester or one of the range of stand-alone tanks Selmech can source including our 400L underslung tank. The additive is then drawn from the source, through an easy to clean filter, then onto to the application point. These kits are available with three different pump outputs: 0.1 – 1 L/Min, 0.5 - 5 L/Min litres or 1 - 10 L/Min (open flow) as well as a choice of digital or basic controller.

All kits are supplied with easy to clean filters, 2 spray nozzle holders, (more can be added if preferred) a selection of jet sizes, 2m power cable and 10 meters of durable braided tubing with quick release connecters.

Features

  • Sturdy covered pump module
  • Versatile mounting bracket
  • Easy to clean filters
  • Durable and reliable diaphragm pump
  • Thru-beam crop detection compatible
  • Digital or basic controller options

Dflow+ controller

Selmech’s digital in cab controller has custom settings to set it up to suit your operating preferences. A flow sensor is read by the control box to monitor and automatically adjust the pump motor to deliver additive precisely.

An applicator stop start signal from your harvesting machine, if available, can be used by the control box to pause and resume the pump automatically. It will keep a running total of the amount of additive used. There is a connector in the control box for the addition of a thru beam crop detector and the option of using a Low-level warning switch.

Features

  • Digital display
  • Easy set-up function
  • Records the total litres applied
  • Digital flow sensor
  • Pause pump via wagon control (If available)
  • Thru-beam crop detection compatible
  • Low level warning switch option

Basic PWM controller

Our own in cab variable speed controller that enables the operator to set the output of the pump easily and make manual adjustments for varying crop densities. It has an LED fault indicator to warn of a blown fuse or power supply issues. There is a boost button to run the pump at full speed for a short period if there is a temporary heavy crop density encountered. There is an output for the addition of a thru beam crop detector. A guide calibration chart is provided to help set the required output.

Features

  • Variable speed controller
  • Boost button
  • LED fault indicator
  • Thru-beam crop detection compatible

Thru beam crop detector kit option

A thru beam crop detector kit option is available for use on balers and forage wagons. When positioned to detect the swath as gathered up by the pick up it will switch the pump on when the beam is broken and off when it is not.
