Complete applicator kits for balers or forage wagons with a choice of 250, 175 or 125 litre tank mounted on a sturdy multi-position bracket and supplied with our own basic PWM or digital control box. These kits can be supplied with output options of 0.1 – 1, 0.5 - 5 litres or 1 - 10 litres per minute. (open flow)
We have a bespoke tank and bracket design for easy mounting on most makes and models of balers and forage wagons. All kits are supplied with 2 nozzle holders, (more can be added if preferred) a selection of jet sizes, 2m power cable and 10 meters of durable braided tubing with a quick release connecter.
Selmech Supplies’ digital in cab controller works in conjunction with an electronic flow sensor which is read by the control box to monitor and automatically adjust the speed of the pump motor to keep it’s output constant and deliver additive precisely. The control box will give an audible alarm if the additive isn’t being applied at the correct rate, e.g if there is a blockage in the tubing or if the tank is empty.
The control box can be set in different operating modes to suit all types of forage harvesting equipment and operator preferences.
An applicator stop start signal from your harvesting machine, if available, can be used by the control box to pause and resume the pump automatically. If your machine doesn’t have this facility you can fit the thru beam crop sensor. You can also view the total amount of additive dispensed at the push of a button.
Our own in cab variable speed controller that enables the operator to set the out put of the pump easily and make manual adjustments for varying crop densities. It has an LED fault indicator to warn of a blown fuse or power supply issues. There is a boost button to run the pump at full speed for a short period if there is a temporary heavy crop density encountered. There is an output for the addition of a thru beam crop detector. A guide calibration chart is provided to help set the required output.
A thru beam crop detector kit option is available for use on balers and forage wagons. When positioned to detect the swath as gathered up by the pick up it will switch the pump on when the beam is broken and off when it is not. More info
The mounting bracket can be flipped to enable mounting on a verticle surface.
